Settlement For Millennium Health of Rancho Bernardo

The U.S. Department of Justice announced a settlement of over $250 million with a San Diego County company accused of billing Medicare, Medicaid and other federal health programs for unnecessary tests.

Millennium Health of Rancho Bernardo is a named defendant in over six whistleblower suits by former employees and other parties over the last several years alleging Millennium policies ordered a battery of tests when only one or two were necessary.  In 2014, the U.S. departement of Justice joined the controversy.
