Zucker, Goldberg & Ackerman LLC (ZGA) seeks Chapter 11

According to court papers, Zucker, Goldberg & Ackerman LLC (ZGA) sought chapter 11 protections Monday.  In preparation for liquidation, ZGA will hand off 30,000 active foreclosure and insolvency cases. At one time, ZGA handled 40% of home foreclosures in New Jersey.  According to ZGA, its mortgage-lender clients and tighter rules are to blame for its troubles.
